This is Dennis ➡️ - the proud owner of DeYoung Photography, he didn’t exactly start his career behind the lens like most photographers. In fact, his journey began in a rather unconventional way—during the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic. While the world stocked up on hand sanitizer and toilet paper, Dennis was stocking up on a healthy dose of passion and defiance.

As part of the Vancouver Freedom Movement, Dennis was out there, camera in hand, documenting protests, rallies, and all the moments that defined a strange era. What started as a side project to capture history in the making, soon turned into something bigger—a realization that his true passion was photography. His keen eye for detail, knack for capturing raw emotions, and perhaps a sprinkle of "right place, right time" propelled him to start his own photography business.

Thus, DeYoung Photography was born—not out of a lifelong dream, but out of seizing the moment in a truly unique period of history. Now, Dennis has traded in the megaphones and protest signs for lenses and lighting, building a business that celebrates moments worth remembering—whether it’s world-changing events or simply a perfect sunset.
